Colac Blueberry Topping Sauce brings a deep purple colour and a rich, moreish berry taste to desserts all year round, from a dark chocolate cake in winter to a lemon tart in spring.

It is made in Belgium with 16.5% blueberries and elderberry juice, and it is bottled in 1kg packs, each with an anti-drip cap.

Does Blueberry Sauce Contain Added Colour? 

No. The recipe lists blueberries and elderberry juice but no added colours, and the flavouring is a natural flavour. It is thickened with pectin and modified corn starch, with citric acid and potassium sorbate making up the rest. Colac rate it vegan and vegetarian, and declare none of the major allergens in it.

How to Use Blueberry Sauce 

Once you have scooped ice cream into a cone or tub, drizzle it over for a blueberry finish. On cakes and pastries it can go on after baking, and the anti-drip cap is precise enough to pipe dots, lines and simple decorations on a plate. Store it in the dark, dry, at up to 25°C; it has a 24-month shelf life unopened.
