Chocovic is a brand dedicated to the manufacture of chocolate and cocoa products for all kinds of professional use since 1872. More than a century of experience and dedication make Chocovic today a brand that can offer all kinds of products ideal for chocolates, pastries and bakes. Chocovic's origins can be traced to the city of Vic, in the province of Barcelona, where a small family business called Chocolates Arumi was set up. Its commitment to high quality service led it to create special blends for locals to suit their particular tastes.
In 1977 the business was bought by a Spanish company which changed the name of the business to Chocovic and turned it into an industrial chocolate factory specialised in artisan pastry making and confectionery. In 2009, Chocovic entered the Barry Callebaut group, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality cocoa and chocolate – from the cocoa bean to the finished chocolate product. As such, the advantages of belonging to a large business group are combined with Chocovic's technical knowledge and experience.
The Chocovic range of chocolate products is ideal for artisan chocolatiers, bakers and patissiers producing pastries and chocolates, using the finest quality ingredients.
Chocovic is well balanced to deliver the perfect flavour profile and deliver a high-quality product.
The Keylink range of Chocovic couvertures features Tobado, a 64.5% dark chocolate, and Quador, a 53.9% dark. It also includes Zeylon, a 36.5% milk chocolate and Napal, a 29% white couverture.
Chocovic is just one of the brands under the umbrella of Barry Callebaut Group, which also includes Callebaut and Cacao Barry, Mona Lisa and Van Houten.
As part of the Barry Callebaut family, Chocovic benefits from being involved in their work towards a more ethical and sustainable chocolate industry.
Barry Callebaut created ‘Forever Chocolate’ to address challenges in the cocoa industry and ensure farmers' human rights are upheld, sustainable ingredients are used, all while allowing the natural habitat of cocoa plantations to thrive and for the farmers to prosper.
By 2025, more than 500,000 farmers in their supply chain will have been lifted out of poverty, their entire supply chain will be covered by Human Rights Due Diligence, remediating all identified child labour cases, while using 100% certified or verified cocoa and being forest positive.
