Colac Gold Topping Sauce is a light banoffee flavour sauce, all banana and toffee, for adding a touch of decadence to ice cream, waffles, pancakes and banana desserts.

Made in Belgium, it combines sweetened condensed milk with banana juice, and its golden colour comes partly from carotenes. It is sold in 1kg bottles topped with an anti-drip cap.

What Is a Banoffee Topping Sauce? 

Banoffee pairs toffee with banana, the two halves of the classic pie. In Gold, the condensed milk carries the toffee side and the banana juice and flavourings bring the fruit. It contains milk, and Colac's allergen list also includes cocoa, from a flavouring. Vegetarians can have it; vegans cannot, because of the milk.

How to Use Gold Sauce 

Pour it over vanilla or banana ice cream, finish a slice of banoffee pie or a sticky toffee pudding, or drizzle it across hot waffles with sliced banana and cream. It also gives a plain milkshake a banoffee twist. Kept away from light and moisture at 25°C or below, a sealed bottle stays good for 24 months.
