How Much Hazelnut Does It Contain? 

Hazelnuts are 14% of the sauce. Sweetened condensed milk and butter give it its creamy body, and a pinch of salt sharpens the nuttiness; there is no added flavouring, so the taste comes from the nuts, the milk and the butter. That means it contains hazelnuts and milk. It is suitable for vegetarians, but not for vegans.

How to Use Hazelnut Sauce 

Top off a milk chocolate ice cream or a milkshake to weave hazelnut and chocolate together, for a classic nutty flavour. It is just as good over pancakes, waffles and crêpes, or across a coffee dessert. Unopened, a bottle lasts 18 months in a dark, dry cupboard kept under 25°C. You could even screw a pump dispenser onto the bottle for extra ease of use.
