What Does Unicorn Sauce Taste Like?

Raspberry, from a natural flavouring, on a sweet base of sugar and glucose-fructose syrup. Some customers tell us it reminds them of pear drops; others say gobstoppers. Its pink shade comes from carmine (E120) and carotenes, and as carmine is made from insects, the sauce is unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans. None of the main allergens, such as milk, nuts, egg or gluten, is used in it.

How to Use Unicorn Sauce 

Zigzag it over vanilla or strawberry soft serve, line a glass with it before filling with a milkshake, or drizzle it over waffles, pancakes and party cupcakes. It is an easy way to turn a plain scoop into something a child will remember. The bottle will last two years unopened if you keep it somewhere dark and dry at room temperature, no warmer than 25°C.
