Flavour Pastes & Compounds

A flavour compound is a concentrated paste that adds taste, and often colour, to a base such as gelato, buttercream, ganache or a pastry filling. Because it is so concentrated, a small dose goes a long way, and it gives the same intensity of flavour and texture from one batch to the next.

Which Colac Flavour Compounds Are There?

Colac's compounds are made for ice cream, gelato and pastry fillings, and come in small packs that help keep wastage down. Flavours range from fruit, such as mango, passion fruit, green apple and lime and cactus fruit, to dessert-inspired tiramisu, cookie dough, speculoos, dulce de leche and salted caramel.

What Else Is in the Range?

Alongside Colac you will find compounds from MSK, including English rose, sour cherry, liquorice, blackberry, coconut and vanilla. If you want to add flavour after the bake rather than before, Colac also make topping sauces and sundae toppings.
