This product is repacked in a facility that handles nuts, peanuts, gluten (Including cereals containing gluten), egg, soya, milk and sulphites.
Invert Sugar Paste is Belgosuc Cremesuc, an invert sugar syrup set to a soft, spoonable paste and made from sugar beet. It arrives in a 7kg pail.
Why Use Invert Sugar Paste in Fillings and Bakes?
Invert sugar is hygroscopic: it draws moisture in from its surroundings and holds on to it. That is what keeps soft cookies soft and chewy, and it extends the overall shelf life of whatever you make with it. It also makes the sugars around it crystallise less easily. Its solids are almost entirely dextrose and fructose, at about 50% and 47%, with just 3% sucrose remaining. For more information on sugars and gelling agents click here.
How to Use Invert Sugar Paste
Replace part of the sugar in a cookie dough or a soft bake with the paste to help the crumb stay moist. In soft confectionery fillings, a share of invert sugar slows crystallisation, so the centre keeps its smooth, tender bite.
Keeping the Paste at Its Best
Store the pail closed in a clean, dry place between 15°C and 25°C, and use the oldest stock first. A little syrup can separate from the paste during storage. Stir it back through and the paste is as good as new. Each pail is good for a minimum of 12 months after it is made.

- FREE next business day delivery by DPD or APC on all orders over £150 (ex. VAT).

- From September to December, orders placed after 3pm on Friday but before 10am on Sunday will also be delivered on the Monday, excluding palletised orders.
- Delivery on orders under £150 (ex. VAT) is £8 plus VAT. No minimum order requirement.
- Orders including personalised items, to-order products or card cut to size are unlikely to be dispatched the same day, but will be dispatched as soon as possible.

- Orders placed before 3pm Mon-Fri will be dispatched the same day
- Orders will be dispatched on a 2 day service
- Delivery will be charged as a percentage of the order value, subject to a minimum delivery charge per order.
Palleted deliveries
- If your order is large enough for a pallet, we may give you a quick call to ask if you’re able to accept them. Pallet Track can make sure pallets are delivered right to your door, but we do understand that not everyone is able to receive them.
