Because the colour is carried in cocoa butter rather than water, it blends straight into chocolate work. Roxy & Rich make the range for colouring moulded chocolates and for airbrushing onto food, and it leaves a hint of shimmer on the finished piece.How to Use Gemstone Coloured Cocoa Butter
Melt it gently until it is fluid, then spray, flick, brush or finger paint it into a clean mould before you fill it with tempered chocolate. It also works on chocolate that is still wet, for a hand-painted look.Colours, Labelling and Storage
The colours in each shade are listed in its Key Features. Soft Pink Quartz and Peach Moonstone contain titanium dioxide (E171), which is permitted in Great Britain but not in the EU or Northern Ireland. Seven shades contain an azo colour, so anything made with them must carry the warning "may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children". The whole range is kosher certified. Store each bottle or tub sealed, out of the light and clear of heat and damp.
