Our clear cellophane lets the product do the talking. It gives chocolate figures, Easter eggs and hampers a glossy, glass-clear finish with no print to compete with your own colours. It comes on a 100 metre roll, 70cm wide, so you can cut each wrap to exactly the size the job needs.

The film is 35 micron, a little heavier than the 30 micron film on our printed Hearts roll. It is food contact compliant, so it can sit directly against unwrapped chocolate. It is also a good moisture barrier, which helps protect chocolate on the counter and in transit.

What Is Cellophane Film? 

Cellophane is the name most people use for clear wrapping film. Ours is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film, known as BOPP. It is made for food packaging and tested against EU and US FDA food contact regulations. It is crystal clear, with a high-gloss surface, and both sides heat seal.

How to Use Cellophane Wrap 

Cut a length from the roll and stand your Easter egg, figure, hamper or gift box in the centre. Gather the film above it and tie it with ribbon, a twist tie or a pull-bow. If you have a heat sealer, you can make fitted pouches and bags to your own sizes, because both sides of the film seal. Keep the roll at room temperature and away from damp, and use it within six months of delivery, while the film is at its best.

If you cut a generous metre at a time, one roll gives you a hundred wraps.
