Crafted in Toulouse, France, since 1818, Candiflor's crystallised flowers are a decorative delicacy known around the world. Candiflor is proud to be the oldest maker of 'La Violette de Toulouse' in the world, and it still crystallises its flowers by hand, using artisan methods developed and improved over more than 200 years.
The Violet Capital
Violets were brought to Toulouse by the Italians around the late 18th century and quickly became part of the fabric of the city, grown for confectionery, perfumery and even liqueur. Candiflor transforms three tons of fresh violets every season.
Made With Real Flowers
Candiflor's decorations are made using French sugar, natural flavourings and real flowers, suspended in syrup shortly after picking to preserve their beauty and freshness. They're a classic French cake decoration, used by pastry chefs and artisan chocolatiers worldwide and favoured by Parisian patisseries.
The Candiflor Range at Keylink
We currently stock Candiflor crystallised whole rose flowers, around 200 pieces per kilo and non-AZO, ready to add an elegant pop of colour to cakes, desserts and chocolates.
Seasonal Availability
Because each crop depends on the year's harvest, Candiflor flowers may not be available all year round. With a shelf life of over a year, though, they'll keep until you're ready to use them.
