Matcha Latte FrappShake

Ingredients
- 750g Colac Complete Vanilla Base Mix (SGC1008P)
- 100g Matcha Green Tea Powder (SCF0459)
- 350g Colac Strawberry or Blueberry Flavouring Compound (optional)
- 5ml Vanilla Extract (optional)
- 1000ml Semi Skimmed Milk
- 3000ml Water
Method
Extra thick matcha latte milkshakes with a hint of vanilla, perfect for adding your own fun twist. We love a good scoop of Colac Strawberry Flavour or Blueberry Flavour in ours! You can even add a splash of vanilla extract or even honey, if you prefer your matcha lattes extra sweet!
How to Make Matcha Latte FrappShakes:
If you'd like to make your FrappShake richer then use whole milk instead of semi skimmed.
- Heat the milk to 70°c
- Add the Colac gelato base and blend for 2 minutes
- Add the water and matcha green tea powder (plus any other flavourings) then blend
- Pour into the FrappShake machine and churn
- Serve and decorate as your customers prefer!
Enjoyed this recipe? Matcha can be slightly bitter, so testing your recipe to get the sweetness level right is key! If you love the green colour and want to achieve the two tone look of a strawberry matcha latte, try our fruit fillings or ambient fruit purées instead of the Colac flavouring. Simply spoon into the bottom of the cup or glass and top with your vanilla matcha FrappShake!
