Ingredients
- 300g Pistachio Spread 15% (SCM828)
- 50g Roasted Kadaif (SCM475)
- 300g Callebaut 823 Milk Chocolate (SCC1521)
- 400g Strawberries
- 30g Whole Pistachios (SCN250A)
Method
The combination of pistachio and milk chocolate has taken the world by storm, with the creamy, sweet and salty flavour pairing becoming popular with customers. But it's not just for chocolate bars! Try this layered strawberry dessert using Callebaut's 823 Milk Chocolate, our Pistachio Spread and brand new Roasted Kadaif. Mix it up by adding in anything you fancy, from brownie bites to cake and any other fruits you like!
How to Make Dubai Inspired Chocolate & Pistachio Strawberries:
- Hull and quarter your strawberries and set aside, keeping one strawberry in tact for decoration
- Warm 240g of your Pistachio Spread 15% in the microwave (optionally, you can stir in a couple of teaspoons of Callebaut Pure Pistachio Paste for added nuttiness!)
- Mix in 50g of Roasted Kadaif and combine gently
- Warm your remaining Pistachio Spread, and melt your Callebaut 823 Milk Chocolate in separate bowls in the microwave
- Drizzle a little pistachio spread and milk chocolate around the bottom of a glass sundae dish (or plastic cup if you're at a food fair)
- Add a layer of strawberry pieces and then spoon your pistachio kadaif filling on top and cover with melted chocolate
- Repeat until your dish is full, top with extra pistachio spread and melted chocolate, then decorate with chopped pistachios and the strawberry you reserved (for a little added decadence, dip the strawberry in your remaining spread and chocolate first!)
- Serve or enjoy!
