Simple to prepare and consistently crowd-pleasing, they are ideal for cafés, bakeries and dessert menus looking for a reliable brownie base with excellent texture and flavour.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (fan). Line a 12.5 x 7 inch brownie tin with parchment paper.
  2. Gently melt the butter and sugar together in a large pan until all of the sugar has dissolved. Once combined, remove from the heat, add Win-Win Dark and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the plain flour, cocoa powder and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the lined tin and bake for around 20 minutes, or until the top is just firm but there is still a gentle wobble in the centre.
  5. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely in the tin before slicing.
