Strawberry Gelato

Ingredients

  • 1kg of Colac Neutral White Base (SGC1006P)
  • 3kg Whole Milk
  • 400g Strawberry Flavour Paste (SGF1822)

Method

Strawberry ice cream is a classic flavour, loved by kids and adults alike. Our recipe uses real strawberry purée and milk to create a light, flavourful and satisfying gelato that your customers will never guess has come from a powdered base mix!

How to Make Strawberry Gelato:

  1. Heat the milk (70-85°C) 
  2. Add the Colac Neutral gelato base mix and blend for 2+ minutes 
  3. Allow to cool, add the strawberry flavour paste and blend 
  4. Then churn, decorate and store as you would normally
