Our selection of high-quality candied fruit comes from SOC Chef, and features both a premium and standard range. Using only the finest, carefully-selected fruits, such as three specific types of Valencia orange out of the over fifty varieties grown worldwide, SOC Chef is able to produce candied, or crystallised, fruit and peel that are renowned for their quality. With a choice of orange, lemon, ginger and blueberries, there's a candied fruit for every application.
The Premium candied fruit range is preserved using frozen storage, which maintains the full flavour, uses fruit with very little pith, and doesn’t contain sulphites, resulting in a final product of the highest quality. Our Premium collection includes candied lemon peel strips, candied ginger strips and candied orange strips, available drained or dusted with dextrose. These are all perfect for enrobing or enjoying just as they are!
The Standard range is stored using a preservative solution containing sulphites, which leads to a brighter colour and is most suitable for decorating cakes and muffins, as an inclusion in chocolate, and for enrobing.
