Cocoa Butter Chocolate Décor Techniques: Galaxy Effect

To create this chocolate décor effect you will need:

• Black cocoa butter SCR448
• White cocoa butter SCR473
• Shimmer Pearl Powder in blue
• 2 x toothbrushes (a brand new toothbrush makes a really handy addition to your décor toolkit!)
• A food grade paintbrush
• Your chosen mould (we used SMP8022P)

1. Polish your mould with lint free cloth or paper towel
2. Heat the black cocoa butter (cap off) in the microwave for 1m 20 secs, or until it reaches 45˚C. Alternatively, leave it overnight in your holding tank/hot cupboard
3. Dip the toothbrush into the black cocoa butter, flick it into the mould to create a speckled effect. Leave to set

4. Do the same with the white cocoa butter. Leave to set

5. Use your paintbrush to swirl Shimmer Pearl Powder into each cavity. Tap out any excess
