If you are based anywhere in the European Community, ordering from us can be as quick, easy and economical as ordering from your local supplier!

To help you understand how Keylink operates throughout Europe, here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions:

How can I see your products?

You can view our entire product range with pictures and prices (in Euros or GBP) by clicking on Browse our Products, or you can request a copy of our catalogue.

Can I order and pay in Euros?

Yes. When you register with us, you can select whether you wish your account to be in GBP or Euros. If you select Euros, all the prices you see on our website will be in Euros and you will be invoiced in Euros. Payment would also be in Euros to our Euro bank account.

How do I place an order?

The easiest and quickest way to place an order is through the Shopping Area of our website. If you prefer, you can also place an order by fax or over the telephone.

Why should I register for the Members Area?

In order to place and pay for orders through our website you do need to register, but there are also other benefits.

Within the “My Account” section of our Shopping Area, you can see details of all your previous orders and payments made through our website. To save time, you can also create new orders by duplicating old ones or pick items from your own personalised list of “previously ordered items”.

Registration takes only a few minutes and is free.

Is delivery included in the price?

Delivery is included to any country in the European Union but there is a small order surcharge of £19 (€ 29) for orders below £250 (€ 375). For countries outside the European Union, please enquire separately.

Please note that for orders including alcohol, there is an additional £55 (€ 85) Hazardous Goods surcharge, which is levied by our carrier for all movements of dangerous goods. Note also that transit times for hazardous goods are not guaranteed.

Will I have to pay UK VAT on my order?

If you are VAT registered in your country and we are shipping the goods directly to you, you will not be charged UK VAT. If you are not VAT registered, we will have to charge UK VAT.

When you register with us, you will be asked for your VAT number. It is important that you do enter your VAT number, with the country code, because otherwise you will automatically be charged VAT at the UK standard rate.

How quickly will I receive my order?

We work in partnership with TNT International to provide a fast and reliable service. Please click here to see a transit time guide for EU countries.

We will normally be able to dispatch your order the next day but please note that during very busy times, it can take us up to 2-3 days to dispatch your order. If your order is very urgent, please let us know and we will always try to prioritise it.

What if something on my order is out of stock?

With overseas orders, if we are unable to supply an item, we will contact you to ask if you would like an alternative product. Otherwise, we will deliver it with your next order.

How Can I Make Payments in Euros?

You can make a payment in Euros directly into our Euro bank account (please click here for our bank details) or you can pay using one of the following credit or debit cards:

Please note that there is a 1.95% surcharge for paying by credit card or non-UK issued debit card.

We regret that we do not accept cheques drawn on banks outside the UK because they can take up to six weeks to clear.

Can I set up a credit account?

Once you have been trading with us for a period of time, we would be happy to consider setting up a credit limit for you, with invoices payable after 30 days as per our standard terms.

If you are based outside the European Community, the only difference is that we would have to calculate and charge for carriage costs on an order-by-order basis. Please contact us on +44 114 245 5400, or email sales@keylink.org for further information.

Please note that if we deliver an order to an address in the UK, we may be forced to charge UK VAT unless we receive a proof of export.
