Culinary Alcohol Concentrates : Remy Cointreau
The Rémy Cointreau Group, whose origins date from 1724, is the result of an alliance between the premium brands of Rémy Martin and Cointreau which has now grown to incorporate many other branded liqueurs and spirits.
Today it continues to develop and its brands have a reputation for excellence throughout the world.
Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac
At the very Heart of Cognac, Rémy Martin grapes are grown in only the two most highly prized regions – Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. The eaux-de-vie from these crus have the greatest ageing potential and are therefore the most treasured. Fine Champagne Cognac is the only blend of two crus protected by the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée, which officially recognises the complementary qualities of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne to provide a unique quality of cognac.
At Rémy Martin, centuries old techniques including double distillation on the lees, a long slow ageing process in carefully selected barrels and meticulous blending all ensure that Rémy Martin is the undisputed Fine Champagne Cognac specialist. Only 17% of the cognac shipped from the region is legally recognised as Fine Champagne Cognac (Source: BNIC shipments 2004) and 80% of all Fine Champagne Cognac shipped from the region is produced by Rémy Martin.

Cointreau
One of the world’s most renowned brands, Cointreau is a unique premium spirit made from selected sweet and bitter orange peels, which has been enjoyed around the world for more than 150 years. Cointreau’s subtle complexity can be appreciated simply over ice, with freshly squeezed lime juice mixed with sparkling water in a refreshing Cointreau Bubbles, or, shaken for an indulgent and sophisticated cocktail such as the Cointreau Cosmopolitan or the original Margarita.
Cointreau’s ongoing <<BE COINTREAUVERSIAL>> marketing campaign and its partnership with the film “The Devil Wears Prada” has excelled in reinvigorating the brand and given it a new edginess, a playful, flirtatious sensuality that has extended its appeal to Cointreauversial women everywhere. Based around a signature drink, the Cointreaupolitan, the new communications campaign has successfully created a pattern of new consumption trends among young, active and urban adults.

St. Remy VSOP Napoleon Brandy
The number one French Brandy in the world, St. Remy is distilled and blended in the tiny village of Macheoul near Nantes in the Loire valley. In the 1870s, the phylloxera insect scourge devasted many of the Cognac vineyards leading traders to seek a new source of fine brandies - Rémy Martin chose this region for its Muscadet and Gros Plant wines. These wines flourished on the gentle, rocky slopes there and the vineyards, tempered by a warm ocean breeze, produced grapes which were like first cousins to those in Cognac.
St. Remy VSOP Napoleon Brandy is supplied at 60% ABV.

Mount Gay Rum
The Mount Gay Rum Estate has long been recognised for the quality of its premium rums, which continue to win major international awards. With legal deeds showing that production was well under way by 1703, this makes Mount Gay Rum not only the oldest rum in Barbados, but more importantly, the oldest rum in the world.
Mount Gay Distilleries’ unique craftsmanship can be attributed to five distinctive elements not shared by other producers: the best molasses, the purest coral water, a unique distillation process, ageing in Kentucky oak barrels and last but not least, the skill of their Master-Blender.
With its origins in Barbados and its long-standing association with major, internationally renowned sailing events and the Cricket World Cup, the brand has a strong following in the US as well as Australia and New Zealand and increasingly, the UK.
